Privacy policy

The short version: Tiny Scanner runs entirely on your phone. It has nowhere to send anything, and it doesn't try.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Tiny Scanner needs camera access to read codes — that’s how a barcode scanner works — and it decodes them locally on the phone. The decoded text never leaves the phone unless you choose to copy or share it yourself.

What stays on your device

Your saved scans. The app keeps a list of codes you’ve scanned so you can find them later. That list lives in the app’s standard local storage and is removed when you uninstall.

What Tiny Scanner does not do

  • No analytics
  • No crash reporting
  • No telemetry
  • No accounts
  • No ads
  • No network requests of any kind
  • No data sent to MartianMoo or any third party

App store data

When you download Tiny Scanner from Google Play, the store collects information as part of its own processes. That falls under Google’s privacy policy, not ours. We don’t see any of it.
